Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the application Six Around: 3D Hex Minesweeper (the "Application") for Android phones and Wear OS watches, created by anegin.
In short: the developer does not collect, receive or sell any personal data. The Application has no ads and no analytics, and it never connects to the developer's or any other servers of its own; only the Google libraries described below go online. Everything it stores stays on your own devices. On the phone, if you use Google Play Games, your achievements, game stats and best times are also saved to your Play Games profile and its leaderboards by Google, and your statistics and achievement progress are kept in a saved game in your Play Games account, so that they carry over to your other phones. If you choose to tip the developer, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play.
1. Information Collection and Use
The developer does not collect any personally identifiable information. The Application requests no runtime permissions and has no access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or any unique device identifiers.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
To work as a game, the Application keeps a small amount of data locally on your device:
- the current game in progress (for a board from a friend's link, also the friend's time, if the link has one);
- game statistics for each difficulty level (games played and won, best and average times, win streaks);
- your settings (theme, color palette, sound effects and music, the chosen difficulty and your last custom level, which tutorial hints you have seen, and when the Application last asked for a rating);
- on the phone, your progress towards achievements (for example, the number of games won, win streaks, the palettes you have won with, how far you have spun the globe and the days on which you have won);
- on the phone, short records of finished games that are waiting to be sent to Google Play Games (see below);
- on the phone, a copy of the progress last synchronized with your Play Games saved game, used to merge it correctly (see below);
- on the phone, whether you have ever tipped the developer, so that the Application can thank you (see "Supporting the Developer").
This data never leaves your devices except as described below, and it is deleted when you uninstall the Application or clear its data; a copy kept in your Play Games saved game (see below) stays there until you delete it. You can also reset the statistics from within the Application; on the phone, this also resets them in the saved game.
3. Phone and Watch Synchronization
If you use the Application on a Wear OS watch paired with your phone, the watch shares its game statistics and its device name with the Application on your phone, so you can view them there. This transfer goes only between your own devices signed in to the same Google account, through the Wearable Data Layer of Google Play services (which may relay it through Google's servers when the devices are not connected directly); the statistics are never sent to the developer or to any third party.
4. Google Play Games (Phone Only)
On the phone, the Application supports achievements, leaderboards and game stats through Google Play Games Services. Using them is optional: the game works fully without them.
- If you have a Google Play Games profile, the Application signs in to it automatically when it starts; you can also sign in from the game's menu (the Google Play Games group).
- When you are signed in, the Application receives your Play Games player name only to show it in the game's menu ("Signed in as …"). It does not store or send it anywhere.
- The achievements you unlock and your progress towards them are sent to Google Play Games and saved in your Play Games profile. Who else can see them depends on the visibility settings of your Play Games profile.
- When a game ends, the Application sends Google Play Games a short record of it: the difficulty level, whether you won, the time of the game, and how many cells you revealed, mines you flagged and chords you made. From these records Google works out the game stats shown on your Play Games profile, such as games played, wins and best times. The records contain nothing about you or your device. Records of games played while you are not signed in are kept on the phone (at most the last 200) and sent the next time you sign in.
- Your best time on each difficulty level is sent to the Google Play Games leaderboards, where it is ranked against other players' times together with your Play Games player name and avatar. Who can see your results there depends on the visibility settings of your Play Games profile.
- When you are signed in, the phone keeps your statistics and your progress towards achievements (as listed above, without the game in progress and the settings) in a saved game of the Application in your Play Games account, so that you can continue on another phone or after reinstalling the Application. Google stores it in a hidden folder of the Application in your Google Drive, which only the Application can read. The saved game also has a picture of your progress and a short description, shown in the Google Play Games app.
- You can manage your Play Games profile, its visibility, your achievements, leaderboard results, game stats and saved games, or delete them, in the Google Play Games app and in your Google Account (the saved game also under Google Drive's settings for apps' hidden data).
All of this is handled by Google; the developer has no access to your Play Games profile or account.
5. Backup
If Android backup is enabled on your device, the system may include the Application's local data (statistics, achievement progress and the saved-game copy, and settings; the game in progress only when data is moved directly to a new device; the records waiting to be sent to Google Play Games are excluded, so that they are not counted twice) in your personal device backup, which is managed by Google under your Google account. The developer has no access to these backups. You can manage backup in your device settings.
6. Third-Party Services, Ads, and Analytics
- There are no advertisements (no AdMob or other ad networks).
- The developer uses no telemetry, crash reporting or analytics (no Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.).
- No data is transmitted to the developer's servers or to any external servers other than Google's, only as described in this policy.
The Application includes only the following Google libraries, which work through Google Play services on your device:
- Google Play In-App Review (phone only): after some games you have won, the Application may ask Google Play to show its standard rating dialog. Whether you rate the Application and what you write is handled entirely by Google Play; the Application does not receive this information.
- Google Play services (Wearable Data Layer): used only for the phone and watch synchronization described above, and on the watch to open the feedback email on your paired phone (see "Contacting the Developer").
- Google Play Billing Library (phone only): used only for the optional tips described in "Supporting the Developer".
- Google Play Games Services (phone only): used only for the achievements, leaderboards, game stats and saved game described above. Like other Google Play services, it may send Google diagnostic and usage data about its own work, which Google uses to keep the service stable and improve it; the developer does not receive this data.
Versions of the Application from other app stores (such as Samsung Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery and RuStore) contain none of these Google components and do not request access to the Internet: they have no Google Play Games, no In-App Review, no tips and no phone and watch synchronization, sections 3, 4 and 8 do not apply to them, and they send no data anywhere.
Their handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Sharing a Game
On the phone, after a game you can share it with a friend. Nothing is shared unless you do it yourself:
- When you tap "Share", the Application passes a link to the board you played to the app you choose in the system's share sheet; after a won classic game, also a picture of your result, which it draws into its private cache (one file, replaced each time). The same link can be shown as a QR code on your screen.
- The link holds only the board: its size, where the mines are, the game mode and, after a won classic game, the time it took you. It contains nothing about you or your device.
- When a friend opens the link on a phone with the Application, it opens in the Application and starts the same board; nothing is sent anywhere. To let the Application open these links, Android checks that the website belongs to the Application by reading a public file on it; nothing about you is part of that check. Without the Application, the link opens a page on the developer's website in the browser, which shows the board's level and links to the app stores.
8. Supporting the Developer (Phone Only)
On the phone, the game's menu offers optional tips to the developer (a coffee, a pizza or a dinner), bought through Google Play. A tip unlocks nothing in the game and can be bought any number of times.
- The payment is made in Google Play's own purchase screen and handled entirely by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The Application never sees your card or other payment details.
- The Application only receives from Google Play the confirmation that a tip has been paid, which it acknowledges so that the purchase completes, and it remembers on the phone that you have supported the developer.
- As for any purchase on Google Play, Google provides the developer with the order information it gives all sellers (such as the order number, the item, its price and the country or region of purchase). The developer uses it only for accounting and tax purposes and does not share it with anyone.
9. Contacting the Developer
The "Send feedback", "Rate" and "Visit website" options in the Application simply open your email app (on the watch: on your paired phone, or show a QR code with the address), the page of the Application in the app store you installed it from, or the website in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it yourself. If you email the developer, your email address and message are used only to reply to you and are not shared with anyone.
10. Deleting Your Data
The developer keeps no account or server data about you, so you can delete everything yourself:
- Data on your devices (the game in progress, statistics, achievement progress, settings): uninstall the Application or clear its data in your device settings, on the phone and on the watch. The statistics alone can also be reset from within the Application.
- Statistics shared by the watch with the phone: uninstall the Application from the watch and from the phone.
- Google Play Games (your profile, achievements, leaderboard results, game stats and saved game): in the Google Play Games app or in your Google Account; the saved game also under Google Drive's settings for apps' hidden data.
- Device backups: in the backup settings of your device or your Google Account.
- Purchase history of tips: kept by Google under your Google Account; the order information the developer receives from Google is kept only as long as accounting and tax law require.
- Emails to the developer: write to the address below and they will be deleted.
11. Children's Privacy
The developer does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children; the game itself works fully without signing in to anything. The optional Google Play Games features and tips through Google Play are provided by Google under its own terms and age requirements, including Google Play's parental controls for purchases.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page together with a new "Last updated" date.
